I hesitated on this case because of some reviews for this case in other colors. I'm super glad I got it, though, because it's a great case for something UNDER $10. Really, people, what do you want?
The design is slim. The leather is nothing fancy but it's not the cheapest, either. It came to me with no smell and no noticeable blemishes. The construction on this thing is very tight--the phone snaps right in there and it can be a little tough getting it in and out the first few tries. Personally, I'd rather have it be too hard than too easy, but that's me. There's no extra overhang on either side with the leather (another plus), the stitching is solid, the magnet was firmly attached, I could get at all the buttons, and the interior is nice and gentle on my phone's face.
My only real regret on this case is that it doesn't offer great drop protection. I suspected this from the photos, though, so it was no surprise. I'd like plastic around all four corners of the phone, and I'd like the plastic to extend past the face of the phone just enough to provide some protection if it gets dropped.
However, it looks so slick in there, I may just suck it up and be more careful with the phone. Not the end of the world, and the compliments are worth it.
Edit for February of 2012: Yep, just as other reviewers have observed, totally makes your photos green. I went on a little quest to find a flip case that lets me me take pristine photographs. I even went looking at some of the pricier cases. They all give some kind of tint, although (admittedly) none quite so noticeable as the green. But I love the green because it is noticeable, so I'm stuck there. And so far those other cases still lose on relative quality. Bottom line: I'd rather whip the phone out of the case for photos. So there's lots of room for improvement, but still the best (flip) I've found so far. Hey, if you find a nifty flip case, stick it in the comments section!

This case is great except for one major flaw. The hole for the camera and flash is too small. When I try to take photos at night that use flash, I get a green flare in my photos caused by the flash light reflecting off of the case into the photo. If I want to take a flash photo I have to remove the camera from the case, which is not ideal. Though I like the case and it looks great, I'm going to get a different one as this just isn't practical.
